View & switch the tenant you work in
As a user, you can view the tenants (organizations) you are part of and you are eligible to work in.
To view your organizations, click on the tenant control in the application header. It lists all organizations you are part of.
By default, a user is part of the organization where they have been assigned during their registration (whether they registered independently or accepted an invitation to a specific tenant).
To switch the organization within which you want to work, just click on the tenant control in the application header and select the required organization from the list.
This may be for one of these reasons:
- your account does not have access to that organization yet — you need to be invited by an administrator
- the required tenant (organization) doesn't exist yet — in such case an administrator needs to create it first
Administrators can create a new tenant (organization) by clicking New Organization under the list of current tenants in the header.
Personal Access Tokens (PATs)
A Personal Access Token (PAT) is an API token used for automation. It is linked to your user profile and can be used to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
A user can have only one PAT at a time. To create a new PAT, you must first revoke the existing one.
Create a Personal Access Token (PAT)
To create a PAT:
- Click the profile icon.
- Go to the Personal Access Tokens section and click Create token.
- Enter a token name. We recommend choosing a name based on the token's purpose. This name is only for your reference.
- Set an expiration date. We recommend setting one; by default, the token never expires.
- Click Create token.
- Copy the generated PAT and save it in your preferred password manager.
- Click Done.
Copy the token immediately and store it in a secure location (e.g., a password manager or secret store). For security reasons, the token is shown only once and cannot be retrieved later.
Revoke a Personal Access Token (PAT)
To revoke your PAT:
- Click the profile icon.
- Find your Personal Access Token.
- Click the trash icon on the right.
